Let’s Talk
iValueWe buy through them

The line card is theirs. The sizing and the deployment are ours.

iValue is a technology aggregator we buy through for data, network and application software. We do not resell iValue. We use the channel for commercial terms and access to OEM pre-sales, then do the engineering ourselves.

An upstream distributor. You do not buy them from us — buying through this channel is what changes your price and your escalation path.

What comes through this channel

The products, and who each one suits.

5 listed
01

Data protection and backup

Backup, replication and recovery software for servers, endpoints and SaaS tenants.

Organisations whose recovery plan is currently a snapshot and some optimism.

02

Network and perimeter security

Firewalls, gateways, segmentation and the subscriptions that keep them current.

Anyone with an office network and a VPN, and nobody watching either.

03

Application delivery and performance

Application lifecycle and API security — pipelines, DevSecOps tooling and API security: how applications get built, released and exposed. For teams shipping software faster than the controls around it can keep up.

Teams running a customer-facing application where slow and down are the same thing.

04

Identity and access

Directory, single sign-on, privileged access and multi-factor tooling.

Organisations that have grown past shared passwords in a spreadsheet.

05

Storage and data management

Primary and secondary storage, archive, and the software that tiers between them.

Data that keeps growing against a budget that does not.

What buying through us changes

A partnership is only worth what it changes.

Better than list

Aggregated volume reaches better terms on licences and renewals than one organisation negotiating alone. It shows up as a number in your quote, not as a claim in a deck.

Named contacts

Aggregators keep OEM pre-sales engineers on hand. When a design question needs the vendor rather than a reseller, we get the vendor — an escalation path instead of a support form.

Startup credits

Where an OEM runs a startup, trial or proof-of-concept programme through the channel, we prepare and sponsor the application. Whether it is awarded is the OEM's call.

How we help

The work around the product.

  • Establish whether you need the product at all — a fair number of security purchases are configuration problems wearing a licence.
  • Size the licence honestly: users, sockets, nodes or terabytes, counted before you sign rather than trued up after.
  • Run the proof of concept against your own data and your own traffic, not the vendor's demo environment.
  • Deploy and integrate it — into your identity, your network, your logging and your change process.
  • Harden the configuration after go-live, because a default install is not a control.
  • Manage renewals and true-ups, and co-terminate dates so one estate does not generate three unrelated invoices.
Where this is not the answer

An aggregator's line card is not the whole market. Where the right tool sits outside it, we say so and buy elsewhere — and sometimes the right answer is a feature you already own in a platform you already pay for. Buying through iValue gets you terms and pre-sales access. It does not get you an implementation team. That part is ours, and it is quoted separately.
